Sweet Sensations Environmental Policy

We endeavour to make the business as environmentally sustainable as possible.

 

Sweet Sensations is a home-based business so travel is minimal. Electricity is supplied by Good Energy, one of the very first green electricity suppliers in the UK.

 

Packaging is re-used wherever possible (if you live locally to Sweet Sensations in Muswell Hill, North London, we may even be able to make use of your packaging if you drop us a line!).

 

The boxes in which the truffles and kits are packaged are at least 70% recycled and we are moving over to recycled tissue paper.

 

The pots used in our kits for the sweeteners and fats are all made from plants, and are compostable, so they should turn back to soil after 12 weeks.

 

Our paper gift bags are recycled and our plastic carrier bags are made of material which degrades in around 18 months.

 

We would love to find an alternative to the transparent gripseal bags we use for ingredients but don’t know of anything to date.
